Notice the wind

So much is moving around us.
Trees are evidence of wind.
It's a good idea to notice this, because it's a reminder of the sense in nature, and of things we can't see.

Drink water

When your neck hurts, drink water.
When you're tired, drink water.
When your body aches, drink water.
First thing in the morning, drink water.
Add ginger or lemon if you like.
And be grateful for fresh water.

Eat whole foods

Fiber is sorely lacking on many plates.
Where possible, eat the whole food.
Greens, grains, vegetables, pulses, beans ...

Take a breath

It's a lovely feeling to breathe in deeply.
Feel your body become energised.
Feel your ribcage expand.
Feel your mind become calm.
Smile.

Rituals

Rituals are important because they are the basis for a vision and the creation of our lives.
Make up your own ritual if you don't like the ones your culture presents you with.
Rub warm oil on your limbs daily; Massage your own shoulders; Light a candle; Walk slowly through your home; Drink a cup of tea.
Make it up. Make it happen. Make your future yours.

Finish eating at 8pm

Give your stomach a rest, and finish eating at 8pm.
Although if you're having trouble sleeping, you can go ahead and break this 'rule' and get yourself a warming snack at any time. Because why not?
